Age: 16-18 years old
A programme that will give you the opportunity to gain qualifications in Warehousing and Storage, Employability and Personal Development and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT.
You will attend off the job training to develop your knowledge and understanding in the following areas
- Maintaining Health and Safety in the workplace
- Moving and handling goods
- Wrap and pack goods
- Assemble orders for dispatch
- Functional skills maths
- Functional skills English
- Functional skills ICT
- Employability skills
In addition you will also undertake a work placement with a local employer and experience all areas of warehousing and storage to gain practical skills needed for your vocational qualification.

Progression from Foundation Learning – Warehousing and Storage
- Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage
- Further Education to undertake level 2 courses in logistics
