Management Advanced Apprenticeships are intended for people working in management across all occupational sectors. The programme includes on and off the job training towards level 3 nationally recognised qualifications in Management.
Management Advanced Apprenticeships are suitable for individuals, whose role involves carrying out a broad range of management activities and who play an integral role in supporting organisational objectives.

- Planning
- Allocating and monitoring work of a team
- Supporting team members
- Managing conflict
- Resolving problems
- Project management
- Agreeing budgets
- Managing customer service
Advanced Apprenticeships help develop well-trained and motivated individuals who can assist to improve company performance.
Progression into the Management Advanced Apprenticeship
- achieved a Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Team Leading
- achieved an Intermediate Apprenticeship from any sector
- achieved QCF Awards, Certificates or Diplomas in Management or sector specific, non-management areas
- achieved a (14 – 19) Foundation or Higher Diploma, each of which have underpinning Management & Leadership themes
- achieved GCSEs or A levels
- You may progress into the Advanced Apprenticeship without prior qualifications. However it would be beneficial to have some prior experience in a team leading or management job role, although this is not a formal requirement. If you do not have any prior experience in team leading or management job role you may be better suited to the Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeship, although you will be judged on your own merits, experiences and capabilities.
- Progression from the Management Advanced Apprenticeship
- Higher Level Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management
- Further or Higher Education to undertake management, business related or other qualifications, including Foundation Degrees in Management and Leadership, Business and Business Management
- Management, Business and other undergraduate programmes
- Management and other Professional Qualifications at level 4 and above
