Our Sales Apprentices 'Magpie' Task Success
Our 11 talented Sales Apprentices were set a tough challenge to help create a realistic working environment for our Warehousing Foundation Learning students.
The challenge set was to contact local Barnsley businesses and ask for donations to create a warehouse and retail outlet. The support they received from local businesses was amazing, they were donated tills, manikins, shelf units, boxes, rails, and so much more, plus a £100 cheque from the Blakemore Foundation.
All the assistance and donations will go to setting up in 2012 the realistic working enovironment which will give the Foundation Learners the work experience and enhanced training they need so the local employers of Barnsley will have the opportunity to give a work ready young person a work placement or apprenticeship.
