Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeships are intended for people working in team leading roles across all occupational sectors.  The programme includes on and off the job training towards level 2 nationally recognised qualifications in Customer Service.

Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeships are suitable for individuals, whose role involves carrying out a broad range of team leading activities and who play an integral role in supporting organisational objectives.

  • Briefing teams
  • Supporting team members
  • Resolving problems
  • Procuring supplies
  • Project management
  • Delivering and improving customer service

Intermediate Apprenticeships help develop well-trained and motivated individuals who can assist to improve company performance.


Progression into the Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeship

  • undertaken learning in the Foundation Learning Curriculum
  • achieved QCF Awards, Certificates or Diplomas, either in management related areas or in sector specific areas
  • undertaken a Young Apprenticeship programme
  • achieved a (14 – 19) Foundation or Higher Diploma, each of which have underpinning Management & Leadership themes
  • achieved GCSEs or A levels
  • undertaken a sector specific or related Intermediate Apprenticeship, such as a Business & Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship

You may progress into the Intermediate Apprenticeship without prior qualifications.


Progression from the Team Leading Intermediate Apprenticeship

  • Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Management
  • Other Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships such as Business and Administration
  • Further Education to undertake management, business related or other qualifications
